What would it feel like to be held for a moment, nothing to carry, nothing to fix?
This is a soft blush, warmed from within. In color psychology this tone is associated with softness and care: warmth without volume.
Gold and peach were worked up from underneath and left to break through the blush, with cooler lilac surfacing wherever the upper layers stayed thin.
Nothing here has to hold itself together. For once, something else does the holding.
At 80 × 100 cm it fills a studio wall, a calm corner or the space above a bed, and the blush warms white walls and sits softly with oak, linen and pale stone.
